A Canadian Smile ...
A Canadian couple, on their way back home in January,

 are at an airport in Arizona awaiting their flight.
They were dressed in heavy boots, parka, scarf, mittens

… all ready to head home to the Canadian winter.
An older American couple standing nearby

 is intrigued by their manner of dress.
The wife says to her husband, "Look at that couple.

 I wonder where they are from?"
He replies, "How would I know?"

She counters, "You could go and ask them."

He says, "I do not really care.

You want to know, you go and ask them."
She decides to do just that and walks over to the couple and asks,
"Excuse me. Looking at the way you are dressed, I wondered

… where you are from?"
The Canadian farmer replies,

"Saskatoon, Saskatchewan".
The woman returns to her husband, who asks,

 "So, where are they from?"
She replies,

 "I don't know. They don't speak English."

I was driving down a lonely country road one cold winter day

when it began to sleet pretty heavily.

 My windows were getting icy and my wiper blades were badly worn

 and quickly fell apart under the strain. 

 Unable to drive any further because of the ice building up on my front window

 I suddenly had a great idea.

 I stopped and began to overturn large rocks

 until I located two very lethargic hibernating rattle snakes.

 I grabbed them up, straightened them out flat

and installed them on my blades and they worked just fine.

 What! You've never heard of wind chilled vipers?

My Way - Drummer Steals The Show

Kwon Soon Keun, celebrate his 50th year of professional drumming.

Kwon's passion for drumming did not start on YouTube,

 having played in a renowned band called ADD-4.

 He moved and struggled living as a Korean-Canadian

but never gave up playing.

 After long years of living a low-profile immigrant life,

his passion for drumming had finally paid off

 when the internet generation has found him.

 He's now back in the spotlight at age 70.

Thumbs up so everyone can read who the drummer is.

I just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Northern Wisconsin.  

 He said that since early this morning,

the snow has been nearly waist-high and is still falling.
     The temperature is dropping way below zero

and the north wind is increasing to near-gale force.
     His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window

 and just stare.
     He says that if it gets much worse,

he may have to let her in.
