The Latrine Holding Tank Is Full -
 (Thule Greenland)

A US Air Force C-130 was scheduled to leave
Thule Air Base, Greenland, at midnight during a winter month.
During the pilot's pre-flight check, he discovers
that the latrine holding tank is still full from the last flight.
So a message is sent to the base and an airman
who was off duty is called out to take care of it.

The young man finally gets to the air base
and makes his way to the aircraft only to find that
the latrine pump-truck has been left outdoors and is frozen solid,
so he must find another one in the hangar,
which takes even more time.

He returns to the aircraft and is less than enthusiastic
about what he has to do.
Nevertheless, he goes about the pumping job deliberately
 and carefully (and slowly)
so as not to risk criticism later.

As he's leaving the plane, the pilot stops him and says,
"Son, your attitude and performance has caused this flight to be late,
and I'm going to personally see to it that you
are not just reprimanded but punished."

Shivering in the cold, his task finished,
the young airman takes a deep breath,
 stands tall and says,
 "Sir, with all due respect, I'm not your son;
I'm an Airman in the United States Air Force
. I've been in Thule, Greenland for 11 months
without any leave, and reindeer's asses
are beginning to look pretty good to me.
  I have one stripe; it's 2:30 in the morning;
the temperature is 40 degrees below zero,
and my job here is to pump s.... out of an aircraft.
Now, just exactly what form of punishment
did you have in mind for me?

This lovely old couple has been married for a long time

The cruise ship docked at a Mexican port during a very high tide.
Everyone on board was forced to use the ship’s
narrow gangplank as a passageway to the dock far below.
The staff stood motionless when a passenger
in her 70s appeared at the top of the plank.
There wasn’t room for anyone to assist her,

 so she edged along slowly

and finally made it to the dock safely,

 to everyone’s relief.

As she stepped down, she turned,

looked back to the top of the gangplank and shouted,

 “It’s okay
, Mother, you can come down now

Oh my on the amazing walk on Christ The Redeemer. That was amazing. I think the cameraman had the toughest job.

Fascinating Pictures were fascinating and then some.

Phantasialand - No way. NO WAY!

I think the fishing guide was just showing off for the pretty gal.

Hey, it's the cat ladies starter kit.

Hosegame. Dogs crack me up. Too cute.

Awww on the cutest kiss ever.

Good teamwork and bad teamwork. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha on all of them.

Funny teamwork. That was funny. The sheep were way smarter than that guy.

Take it from a fish. That was cute.

Life Hacks. I didn't know any of these.

The Latrine Holding Tank Is Full! Yes what could they possibly do to him.

Enchance your lighting. Now that was pretty lame.

That was a nice police officer not to arrest that gal that was trying to steal groceries for her family. I love a happy ending.

The guessing game would freak me out. Yes it would.

Odds and Ends. Yep, that speaks volumes.

Boo! What a rotten thing to do to your mate. Crying wolf like that isn't all that smart.

Loved the Knock Knock video. That was cool.

I agree with all the wine graphics.

Loved the Ironing Board video. That was wonderfully entertaining.

Those airplanes. Yikes. That would have scared me to pieces. Oh wait...it did.

Signs of the week. Oh boy.

Kimbrel's wind-up is very unusual.

And another fine week Phil. Perhaps you'll visit me one of these days.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Good morning Phil,

As a hotblooded South African, I've grown fond of visits to the snowy Alps

of Switzerland. We've spent a Long Weekend in my beloved Valais (Wallis) and a visit/hike

through the magical forest in Lötschental is a must. Believe me if I could drag along all the

gorgeous Stones that lies along the icy river bed, I would, and not to mention the beautifull formed

Wood pieces that lies in the magical Forest (unfortunately I don't have a Trailer to cart it all

along with me.... therefor I want to say...... your "tasting table" is my cuppa tea.

Once again you've made me laugh with all your funny stuff!!!!!

The Video about the old couple playing tricks on oneanother was a Little sad... yip, they cried

Wolf once too often.

In Europe the cellphone is a right Royal pain in the A.......S, but that Video was "dinkum"

cool.

We love collecting mushrooms in the forest - - - my first experience with the poisonous/

beautiful FLIEGEN PILZ/MUSHROOM was an experience I'll never Forget. As a kid-- way

back when--- I believed the beautiful red mushroom coated with White dots was just a fairy tale,

then, years later I get to meet the Little Beauty for real. WoW!!! Your strange pic is goregeous,

perhaps one day I'll come across something as magnificent as that.... Wish me luck

For now.... I raise my glass - - don't Keep it bottled up - - Keep us laughing and

oooooh-ing & Aaaah-ing for as Long as possible.

Have a Super day Phil.

Greetings from Celeste in Baselland - Switzerland. At the Moment we're enjoying

an Indian Summer - - although it's Autumn here behind the snowy Alps.
