The people who walked by likely recognized it as a hoax as there were many doors the kid could have walked into for warmth and assistance.
To promote a video of something that never happened as truth is dishonest at best, and fraudulent at worst.
That cameraman could have offered the kid his coat and took him to a shelter, but that was not the agenda of the video dorks. Pure fraud, and I despise liars.

Apart from that it does not excuse some one, at least stopping and caring.
I think that's the point they are trying to highlight
Its only when some one cares ,
that others take an interest
It not a nice thing to be homeless.
wouldn't wish that on anyone.
